A Morning Routine That Just Works

A Morning Routine That Just Works

Make smooth, bold coffee with Brevé—no gadgets, no drama.

There’s a certain kind of person who insists you need a scale, a grinder, and a $120 kettle to make good coffee at home. We’re not that kind of person.

At Brevé, we believe in great coffee made simple. No fuss. No filters. Just rich, small-batch flavor, brewed in a way that fits your real life—before work, before school, before your second alarm.

Here’s how to do it our way.

What You’ll Need:

  • Fresh ground Brevé Coffee (your favorite flavor / blend)
  • A Chemex + paper filter
  • A Pyrex measuring cup
  • Filtered water
  • Your favorite mug or travel cup

How to Make Brevé Pour-Over Coffee at Home:

  1. Heat your water
Pour about 2 cups of filtered water into a glass Pyrex measuring cup. Microwave it for 4 minutes. You’re aiming for hot, not boiling—look for little bubbles on the side.

  2. Pre-warm your gear (optional)
While your water heats, run hot tap water into the Chemex until it’s halfway full. Do the same with your mug. This keeps your coffee warm longer. After a minute, dump the water out.

  3. Set your filter + add coffee
Pop a paper Chemex filter in place. Add about 1/3 cup of Brevé ground coffee. A heaping scoop if you’re feeling bold. No need to overthink it.

  4. Pour + swirl
Once your water’s ready, slowly pour it over the coffee grounds in circles, starting in the middle. Swirl the Chemex gently. If you see a little golden shimmer (that’s the crema), you’re doing it right.

  5. Let it drip, then sip
Once all the water’s filtered through, remove the paper filter and pour your coffee into your mug. That’s it. You just made café-quality coffee before your morning meeting.

Why This Works

You don’t need to grind your beans or own a fancy kettle. You just need quality coffee and a simple rhythm. Brevé is roasted to be smooth and flavorful—even when the rest of your morning is rushed.

This method makes every day taste a little more like the weekend.

Drink boldly. Live simply. That’s the Brevé way.
